Project Portugal-


Casa nas Serras which started out as 'Project Portugal' is a charming Bed and Breakfast located in Vila Nova de Poiares, Central Portugal. In between Porto in the north and Lisbon in the south we are situated 30 minutes east of Coimbra on the foothills of the Serra da Estrela.

After the renovations, this authentic country house has been turned into a small paradise in the Portuguese countryside.

Our blog below shows every step of the way, from tearing down parts of the house, to the reconstruction, the works on the swimming pool, interior designing, gardening and much more.

Moving Day...

We are finally at day 5, MOVING DAY. 3 men have been here since 8.00 this morning taking apart and packing up our furniture. Five and a half hours later (1.30pm) and we can finally start lowering down the 126 boxes into the truck that will take them to our new home!

Yay!!

ps. Wish us luck, here we go!!
