Our first 4 day weekend here in Portugal has just past and it's Monday again. We spent the weekend working on the house and electricity plans, exploring nature parks in the area, going to a car boot sale in Miranda do Corvo where we found english books (yay!) and watching the Roland Garros final(RAFA is #1!!).
One of the things on our 'to do' list this weekend was to organize the little living space that we have at the moment to sleep 5 as my grandparents and mom are coming tomorrow (our very first visitors!!). Everything was more or less organized, and we even found a space to put a couch and tv, only to find out this morning that the holes they drilled in the kitchen for the plumbing were only half as big as they were supposed to be! So there went all our organization, everything is now once again piled up in what we call the 'brown room' or the only room with parket floor. Crossing my fingers that they finish everything by the end of the day so that I can set up again and be ready for tomorrow!
